A Pink Carnation
In French today, we all got French Valentines. They were so cute! I filled them all out with my friends and teachers. I still have some left but I’ll give them out tomorrow. Jon and Alli gave one to all our teachers, too. It was great. We’re going to dissect cow hearts next week in science, it’s going to be fun! I know Kim loved it when she did it awhile ago.
In LA, Mr. Wolfe talked to us about some of the books he likes. (We gave a Valentine to Mrs. Macdonell and Mr. Wolfe, too!) We did a test in math, I finished it all except for one question. Lunch was nice; I got chocolate from Janice! Social was quite long. I was working on my little chart for the whole period.
In home ec. I learned that surging machines are fun! Afterwards, I got my three white carnations. They’re so pretty. I forgot to mention earlier on in my journal that I got Mark a pink carnation as a joke and signed it as Super Bean. I just have this picture in my head of Mark walking home with all his guy friends, him holding this little pink flower. I laugh at him now: ha-ha.
