Grad Dress
I got my grad dress last Saturday and I’m pretty excited about it! It’s dark blue, kind of has the corset-type look with the lace up back. It looks like a two-piece but it’s still a one-piece and the top has beading and sparkles and stuff. It’s cool, I like it.
We found out just now that one of my uncles and aunts in Quebec have separated probably for good. So now they will have to uproot their kids’ lives, get stuff in financial order which entails selling their gorgeous house that I got to visit just last summer. This makes for the third sibling of my father’s to get a divorce and leaves us with the frustrating statistic… only one out of four of my dad’s siblings is presently living with (but not married to) the person they had kids with. It’s like relationships as a whole are going down the crapper over there. My poor grandmother.
And this present situation with one of my friends has gotten completely out of hand as well. I went to guidance with Alex and Kim on Monday to get this at least partially out of our hands alone. I know we did the right thing even though I don’t think he thinks that we did. And if he can get some real help… well that would be a best-case scenario. I just hope everything will work out eventually.
Here are my super countdowns: One day until the Passion of the Christ; six days until we get a day off; nine days until the youth retreat; twenty-two days until we get another day off and thirty days until I blow this popsicle stand and go to Greece. Woo!
