Too Skinny

Spring break: So awesome.

I love having two consecutive days in which I don’t even have to think about school or homework. And I really don’t get that very often considering I’m usually doing homework on and off all day Sunday. My mother will read that last sentence and smirk, but she doesn’t count art projects as homework. Or essays typed on the computer. She might think that unless I’m bent over a desk with a pencil and calculator, I’m not really doing homework. But that’s okay. Umm, yeah, so that was pretty pointless to state.

Anyway, these last two school-free days have been great. I went to the lunch theatre per Kristen’s recommendation at the Nazarene church. Then after going to my own church, I went to Kim’s for movie night with Jen, Gill and obviously, Kim. It was so much fun! So according to the great Jen-mini-games we played during Mulan, I’m the cricket, and the first thing I will say to my future husband will be, “Umm… can I just have that back… for a minute?” Hehe. Kim will say, “Too skinny…” Pretty funny!

This morning I went to Tim’s church (making three different churches in twenty-four hours!) for his confirmation. Lutheran, I noticed it’s a lot like Catholic. I’m going to a Catholic service in Quebec this summer. Should be interesting, although it probably won’t be the actual sermon that will be interesting. Mostly because it will be in either Latin or French, and I only know two church related words in each language… God and Jesus. Go me. But it will be so cool to see the building and how the service is layed out. I won’t be able to sing the songs, though, I just realized. Without making a total fool of myself, anyway.

After Tim’s confirmation I went to Mark’s birthday party where we went bowling, watched Emperor’s New Groove and made fun of the people on Fear Factor.

Could the first two days of spring break have been any better? I don’t think so!
