You Say You Want A Revolution
Yesterday was so cool. I went to Lake Bonavista with Kristen, Megan, Andrea, Heather and Sara. It was technically on our bible study day, but I think we’re done formal studies for the summer, so we just got together. It was pretty interesting. We talked about the church and the youth group. It’s times like those when I truly believe that this year will be different than the ones past and the revolution of the Christian church will come from us, the youth. I’ve said this before, but… it’s exciting.
(10:22 AM) I hate Front Page 2000. Hate. I’m sorry, everyone. I’m sorry, dad. I just hate the whole program. It makes my journal mess up all time. It changes the font to Times New Roman and messes with the text size, and when I fix it, it changes back. It even deletes text, and I am not liking that so much. It’s not the memory or the computer itself, because I checked… and those problems don’t happen with ’98. I tried to use it for the last month. I really did try. But Front Page 98 is perfect except for a few bugs, which I’ve learned my way around. So, I did it. I installed ’98 back onto my computer. I have Office 2000 and Front Page ’98. And I like it like that, so that’s how it’s staying.
(11:27 AM) Every time my mom sees me typing my journal entries, she says, “someday I will read your journal, you know, when I get the time.” Truth is, I don’t think she ever will get the time. I was curious, so I did a word count on this journal. 31,152 words, in two years worth of entries. When I think about it, I did it the right way for myself. By typing it, I mean, instead of writing it in a book. It would have used a lot of paper, and I can type way faster than I can write.
