Be Serious?

Oh, holy crap, talk about a non-stop day. I woke up at 7:20, took a deep breath, took off, and didn’t really stop until 9 PM. I really, really, really dislike jam-packing my days like that, especially when it causes me to miss out on things. I really would have liked to go for lunch with Janice and Kim and all the other people that went but, ahh! Just too much stuff!

I started at 8:30 by going to the school for report cards and the textbook refund. (Final marks are pretty good. 88% in science and 78% in social. Not great, but what the hey, right? That ship has sailed and like my mom said, ten years from now, getting seventy eight or eighty in social won’t make one thread of difference.) We lowly, naïve grade tens weren’t clearly informed that today was a drop-in thing… so I need not have been there for 8:30 sharp. After that, I went to Wal-Mart with my mom, searching in vain for denim Capri pants. Darn it! Nothing fits me in the waist except Silver’s, and Wal-Mart doesn’t carry them. Not that we really expect them to, it’s just…

Anyway, next stop is A&W for a root beer. Check that off, and then I met Kendell and entourage at Second Cup, and her mom picked us up and took us to Jack Astors. Entourage = Chelsea, Bre and Brittany. Heh. Bre’s pretty funny, I can see why Kim and Sarah were friends with her in first semester English. I’m glad Chelsea came too, because a) I knew her and b) I wasn’t the only quiet one there.

When I got back home from that, I had enough time for a bath and then I had to go to a doctor appointment. Heh. Doctor was pretty cool. She had a British accent, which makes me smile every time. I love accents so much. Went to Co-op (Ooh, Aman got a job there! Cool, huh?) before going home, eating supper and going to Amanda and Barbara’s place for a rehearsal. Ha ha ha! It started raining during ‘Alone in the Universe’, but not hard so we stayed out for a little while. All of a sudden there was this earth-shaking thunder clap and the downpour started. We went inside and did the rest of Suess, although it was a lot harder because there was no space to move. It’s funny how they want us to be serious, but there’s just no way. We know the choreography off by heart, we have known it since the beginning of May, we haven’t seen eachother in awhile, and it’s raining. Be serious? Uh-uh.

My mind’s just racing, I’m never going to get to sleep tonight. I feel like just typing whatever thoughts surface… but I… nevermind.
