Vive La Révolution!
This past weekend was probably the best I’ve had in quite a while. Friday was St. Patrick’s so after painting my nails green and putting on a green shirt, I went to Brewster’s with Kim and Alex and Mark. It was brilliant because we only had to wait a few minutes for a table, and there was no cover, and they were playing Great Big Sea, and we got to sit beside the fireplace! After that we went back to Kim’s place to look at her sweet art and to eat candy hearts and watch my favourite episode of Full Metal Alchemist, which was dubbed on TV. Oh, FMA dub. Ed’s voice is so not right for the character, but Al’s is very good.
Saturday I just did random things, including watch some of season two of 24 again. In my opinion, 24 peaked out in season two and three, when all the good characters were in it! Then they started killing them off one by one. And I know 24 prides itself on being willing to kill off anyone but Jack, but seriously, there’s a reason why most shows avoid killing principle characters! I don’t even feel like watching a next season of 24 without Tony, Michelle, David, Sherry, etc. (Sherry to a lesser extent considering she died a while ago, but still. She was amusing.) Anyways…
After church there was a CnC event so Mark and I went to that. It was great, especially the dance contest where Alex’s group did, like, a Captain Planet thing! Hard to explain… but truly, it was brilliant.
Sunday I went to Lisa’s wedding shower with Kristen and Kim in the afternoon and then I went to V for Vendetta with dad and Mike and Justin, Connor and Larry after supper. Wicked movie! I loved it!
