Sweet Nostalgia Trip

Today was a sweet nostalgia trip because I went with Kim and Alex and Jen to the zoo! It was the first time I’d been back since last September, and pretty much nothing has changed (except, inside Kitamba they have a coffee shop in the corner now, and they got rid of the ‘condiment udders’. I’m sure all the staff cheered for days when they took those annoying things out.) It was so fun just going to the zoo to hang out. That’s one thing about working somewhere, is that you lose the appeal to be there after a while, but then when you leave for a year and come back again, not working there, it’s just flooded with mostly-good memories. That summer, even though the customers were annoying and there was some drama among the staff, was probably one of the most memorable ones so far. I still think it was like something out of a movie that me and my best pals from junior high all worked at the zoo that summer.

And, when we got Screamers, we got the staff discount. Score!
