Obsession

I got my hair cut this morning. After deciding that Selene from Underworld is none short of the absolutely most cool character ever invented, well, I got my hair cut! So now all I need to do is get me a full leather combat suit (with the awesome boots), some vampire teeth and pool-blue contact lenses and I will so be good to go!

When I like something… I border on obsession sometimes.

I wish they had super virtual-reality computer games that you could plug into and live the life of someone else for a while. In the wise words of Nell:

“I’ll be the first to admit it: when I have a holodeck, I’m never coming out. Not for safety, not for shelter, not to bathe. I will not even come out when my holodeck breaks down; I will sit inside of it, twitching and babbling until somebody fixes it.

Why participate in the real world when you can be any of a thousand characters more exciting than you? “
