Not The Computers!
Aah!! Today was the best day of my whole summer so far!! I woke up early and worked on a few CALM assignments, thinking I’d so the others later on, since I only had three left. Then I went to the library with my mom and I got books for reading. Think I explained that too well? Heh. This was the conversation with my mom before we left:
Colette: Do you think we could go to the library some time today?
Mom: How come?
Colette: …to get books.
Mom: Why?
Colette: To read!
Anyway, after that I went shopping with Kristen, Sara and Megan. That was so much fun, I love those guys! When we were at the grocery store buying fruit, we went up to the pineapples and just looked at each other, because none of us knew what to look for in a pineapple. This guy and his daughter came up beside us and gave us some tips, and I thought that was pretty cool. We dropped everything off at Andrea and Heather’s so I got to see their cutie cats, hehe! Sara drove me home and we got slurpees at Sev on the way.
My parents had decided to use the Papa John’s coupons that dad bought from Kristen, so we had pizza for dinner. (It was good, by the way, Kristen, but my dad will most likely give you a hard time anyway!) I finished off CALM once and for all, so now I’m free!
Around 11:30 I was chatting with Joshy, and he was talking about how he was going to show up at my house with a bunch of people and steal my computers, Warcraft III and me. I didn’t think he was for real about coming over, but he said something about being twelve houses away from me, so I figured that they were at Kristi’s. When they came over, my parents were watching a movie downstairs on the couch, and Josh came up from behind, jumped over and sat between them. My mom said later that she just thought it was Mike so she didn’t even do anything but then they figured out it was Josh. Hehe. Josh told my dad what he told me: ‘I’ve come to steal your computers, Warcraft III and Colette.’ And my dad said, ‘No! Not the computers!!’ It was funny.
To make the day complete, I checked my email and found an e-mail from Janet and someone from Pacific Island Technology complimenting me on my site and artwork. Today was just awesome. This is what summer’s all about!
