Boy, Was That a Disaster

Somehow, I’ve got a cold again, even though I was just sick less than two months ago. But I am not complaining much, because this means that chances are good that I won’t be sick for going to Windermere, which would have sucked hardcore. I can’t wait. It’s going to be sweet.

Last week I ordered the GBA version of Harvest Moon off of eBay, so I’m expecting it to come soon… hopefully tomorrow. That’d be nice!

In other news, I think House has, at long last, overtaken 24 as my favourite show. As a note, this never would have happened if they hadn’t killed off Tony and Michelle. I need a ship for every show, and Jack and Audrey are okay, but don’t quite cut it. In the end, let’s be honest, Jack can’t get the girl. He’s too dedicated to his job and look at how many people he’s pissed off! I wouldn’t want to be Jack Bauer’s girl, what with terrorists lined up around the corner to kidnap me and use me as a hostage! I mean, come on! Back to House though. I bought season one with my brother and pretty much am loving it even more the second time around. Hugh Laurie is just so darned brilliant. And I love the writing of that show.

In the hope of not coughing all over the general public, I didn’t go to church tonight but the Buzans came over afterwards. Which I really wouldn’t mention but for the emergence of this priceless observation by my dear brother:

“Oh yeah, that was back when Riley and I thought we’d be the “good Christians” and hang out with the kid who didn’t have any friends. Boy was that a disaster.”
