Wish My Name Was “Cristancia Potter” Too

Well, I woke up in BC yesterday morning and then when I got back home, I had about one hour before I went to see the cutest movie I’ve seen all year: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! So, after that, we met up with Crystal and then Kim and Alex changed into Hogwarts-wear because we went to Chapters for the Harry Potter Midnight Release. Hah, it sounds like a huge nerd party (which it was), but it was actually pretty fun. They were giving out loads of free things! Like candy and balloons and juice and if I were seven I’d have gotten my face painted and… well, no, I still entered the colouring contest. But Steph and Kaylee did, too!

All things considered, it was not as crowded as I’d have thought. I suppose with there being so many Chapters and Indigo stores in the city, the masses were spread out more. So it was definitely bearable. I think next year I’ll probably dress up as well, what with it being the last book and all. I mean, Harry Potter’s the one book that everyone goes absolutely mental over when a new one is released (it’s on the front page of every website that even sometimes sells books). Might as well make a big to-do about it so I can tell my kids that I was there, right? Heh!
