Augh — Just Stick to Canon!

For a Wednesday (and I despise Wednesdays), today was actually a pretty fun day at the zoo. For some reason, yesterday and today I was moved from the hot dog empire into burgers. At first I was a little broken up about leaving my kingdom, but in some ways I like burgers better. It’s quite a bit busier, but there are more people to help and thus more people to talk to! The hot dog station is a bit of a vortex, being so far away from everything else. Even so, I do so like staying with things I’m familiar with and good at. I think it’s a character flaw.

I really am trying to think about specific things that have made the last two days quite good ones, but nothing comes immediately to mind. Oh, well, Matt spelled my name out in bacon on the grill yesterday, so that was pretty wicked, no doubt. And Eric and Doug said it’d be alright with them if I left a bit early from work tomorrow to go to the Folk Fest with Kim and Jen and Katie! And Vinky and Alex and I had good times drawing cute pictures with grease pencils on the cartons for chili fries and poutines! And I got to ride in the cool golf cart because Matt took me to do the recycling! And Rose made a origami turtle out of foil wrapping! And Sarah scared Matt with the rubber snake twice! Alright, so there are some specific examples of why things have been fun.
