Sweet Eighteen
Hurray, I am finally eighteen! Whee!
Today was pretty great! This morning I went to Future Shop with my dad to get my birthday present, a new stereo. It is too cool! Then I went to school and Ranjit remembered it was my birthday so she announced it in digi comm class. We didn’t do much in that class… I sure didn’t work on my Star crossword while the teacher was reading out of the textbook…
English class was insanely fun for no reason… we were marking this grammar test, finding the auxiliary verbs (so hard, ooh) and one of the sentences was “Sally is trying to take my paper!” which is totally not funny in the least. But Ranjit just said it in this tone that made me laugh hysterically, and then Colleen saw me laughing and started, too. Lastly Alessandra started laughing until our little corner was just inconsolable—our teacher Karen even asked if we needed to get a drink (of water) or something. Haha, it was brilliant!
I went to the Lowe’s house after school to watch the hockey world cup, which we won! Yeah!!! There was a cake and balloons for me there and everything! So awesome!
