Not Much of Anything
Well, this week at school we pretty much did nothing. Alessandra was even like, “geez, I should have just gone home to BC for a week!” She would not have even missed anything, that’s the sad part. Well, unless you count learning how to cross-multiply in math.
Everyone showed up for school on Wednesday, ready for our back-to-back class with Jean. But instead of Jean, there was a pink piece of paper taped to the door saying that she was not going to be in that day and so her classes were canceled. We decided that instead of having gotten up early for nothing, we’d go to China town and Chinook. (Let me tell you, shopping in China town with people who are not Anime freaks is like… I don’t know… raving about Wizard’s First Rule to someone who hates fantasy novels… or something.)
But anyways, we had lunch at East Side Mario’s and when we were heading back to the train station with our left-overs when a homeless man asked if he could have them, so I gave him mine. I don’t know, I felt good about doing it. I don’t help people as much as I should, really. Like, on Tuesday morning I was at school an hour early because my mom drove me to the train station before she had a hair appointment. So I was just sitting against a wall in the Heart building and an Asian lady came up to me and asked if I knew where customer service was. I didn’t, so I said no, sorry. Looking back, I didn’t have anything better to do, and she clearly was nervous about the big campus and the language barrier. I should have just gotten off my lazy butt and helped her find what she was looking for. But nooo, I spent the next hour leafing aimlessly through my textbook. Sigh.
Anyways, yeah. The only class this week that would have been inconvenient to miss was typesetting, just because it’s not so easy to catch up on assignments if you get behind. But other than that, I could have skipped this whole week, gotten the notes from everyone else, and been all the wiser. Meh, oh well.
Tonight I went to Kaylee’s house for a game night and it was really fun! Cranium, wow. I love that game. Jen (or Tinkerbell or Skelley or Corpsey or K-1ennifer… who really knows?) and I were on the same team and we totally won. We also won Scattegories, definitely without cheating… yes…
Carried away by a moonlight shadow…
