Life in Transition
So this Thursday was like infinity times better than last Thursday when it was cold and rainy and I was left behind at the bus stop. Nope! Today I took the other, better bus! That, and I met up with Kim and Steph at break! Yes, I think this whole post-secondary thing is going to work.
I was discussing that very subject with my new SAIT friends Ranjit and Alessandra, and we agreed that it feels like we’ve been going here for a long time. Somehow the transition between high school and SAIT went super well. I’m still a tiny bit unsure of whether I’m in the right program for me, but I’ve decided just to relax and do the best I can this year. If I think I’m not in the right place then I’ll do something different next year. So there!
Surprisingly, I think I had the most fun in math class today. I just love my classmates, they’re so funny! Like when we were discussing the shows we used to watch, I said something like, “oh I used to love the old Dragonball series!” and then Jackson told me to download this thing called “Naruto”, to which I reply with, “I love Naruto!” So he turned around to the rest of the Asian guys sitting all around him and exclaimed to them that I, a white kid, liked Naruto. I felt so proud! Haha. They were all like, “awe, high-five, girl!”
