Finest Hour in Math
Today was my finest hour in math, but I had to be quiet about it so that I would not get beat up after class! Yes my friends, we have started linear systems. Well, linear systems was one of the two units in math that I actually liked (and by “liked”, I really mean “could do without failing brutally as usual”) in high school. Only, linear systems is the type of thing you forget quite quickly after graduation, so the people in my class who have been out of high school for awhile are relatively confused. So I say ha! For once being the youngest one in the class is good! I am like Chiyo-Chan! Aahaha!!! Try and stop me from wearing pigtails to math class next Monday.
We watched a movie about fish in second period (?) And I had Jen’s book about quantum physics with me and was trying to kinda… I dunno… avoid talking about it because people already think I’m nerdy enough, right? Well… yeah… I had to tell Iana that I was in fact reading a book on quantum physics (and not for school…) when she asked. But she seemed to think it was at least borderline cool and not retarded.
Typesetting… nothing much happened. Ooh ooh, except that the screensaver came on my teacher’s computer while the overhead was still on, so I watched the godly colourful tropical screensaver in huge mode. I suck and that’s sad! Haha. I bet it takes a true computer geek to consider a screensaver important enough to write in her journal. But really, it was beautiful.
We got to go home early from pre-press class and next week is the final exam. I’m not too worried though. It’s a practical exam so hopefully I don’t mess up.
