Divers and Archery

Not much happened today. I finished my PowerPoint presentation today in computers. Science was cool. One time in science, Ms. Gobeil had a Cartesian diver, in a pop bottle, that looked like a squid. She was talking about how she illegally took it from Australia when she went there. She asked if anyone wanted to see it closer or to take it out of the bottle. Kurt put up his hand and went up. All of a sudden she undid the lid and sprayed water all over him. It was so funny!

In gym today, we started archery. I popped my balloon on my third arrow. I was the first one to pop a balloon. Go me! Anyways, at lunch in the library I read my book. In social I read my book after I finished my test. LA was cooler than all the classes though, as usual. I got to hand out everyone’s spelling test. They have to do corrections… ha ha… I don’t. I got it right the first time. We’re starting the media unit and I think that’s going to be fun. I made my brother’s math project title page. That’s right. The one he did was an insult to my DNA; my own brother was going to hand that in? I shudder at the thought. He liked the one I made. He said thanks for being the best sister. What he meant was, thanks for being nice sometimes.

I have dance tomorrow. I want so badly to become good at these dances. They’ll look so nice when I finally learn them. Sometimes I have difficulty saying goodbye to dances. For example, Feels Like Home, you can’t even compare to Fable. And Mamma Mia, one of the best and most fun dances I have to stop practicing because it’s a new dance season. If you were in the dressing room at my last recital, right after Fire’s finale, you’d remember how pumped we all were. We were singing a Mortal Kombat song, okay? That’s exactly the type of thing that will make it so extremely hard to quit dance: the feeling after a show.
