A Good Day

Here is a good example of a good day— In French I wrote the painfully easy unit test. In science, we went to the library and I went on the internet for half the period. LA was great as usual. We finished watching the Truman Show. It was funny, because I had all my notes at home from when I rented it, and she said that she’d be taking them in at the end of the period, so I’m like… AHH! I started writing like a maniac and finally got my notes pretty well finished. Of course, A.J. had to copy me while I was working though, which is the primary reason I was keeping my notes at home. I don’t think he got too many off of me though. I hate doing his work for him. Hate. He just doesn’t understand. I’m working for my five percent, not his. As it turned out, she said we could hand it in tomorrow, so I took it home and filled it out completely using my notes at home as an aid.

We were looking at creeds after we were done discussing the Truman show. Mrs. Macdonell read us her favourite creed. I love the way she does this, and this is the reason I love being in 9-26. Whenever she wants to talk about Craig, she just walks over and touches his desk. We all get the message, and it just flows. It’s as if his name is a taboo, or some shadow in our pasts. Anyways, We’ll just say I was near tears when I walked into math. But I was pleasantly surprised at how it lifted my spirits. Math was so cool. Mrs. Terenta can be so incredibly funny when she just wants to be. She told the best joke today, and completely burnt Dean in the process. Heh. Maybe she likes grade nines more or something, but she didn’t ever do that in grade eight. We watched movies in social and I had to re-do my zipper stitches in home ec. but they look alright now. Dance was fun. The math homework wasn’t.
