Yoga and Kelsey’s
Oww! Sore from first Yoga lesson yesterday morning! It was pretty fun at the time though. I went with Jen and Katie and we got there nearly half an hour early so we waited in the parking lot listening to a Paul Lekakis CD that Jen was borrowing. It was pretty hilarious, and so we played a random game to determine which song our future husbands would sing to us. Both Katie and I got track five, I think it was called One Step Closer. Right on!
While we were dropping off Katie after going to McDonalds after yoga, there was this empty milk jug on the ground so Jen lined it up to run over it but we missed, so when we’d dropped off Katie we tried again, missed, went in reverse, missed, tried again, and finally got it stuck under the car! Jen was elated about killing the milk. It was amazing!
After church in the evening I thought Dillon and them might be coming over to play DDR or something but that never seemed to be happening. A bunch of the college and career people were going out, and Angie asked if I wanted to come with them. So inwardly I said, oh my gosh, yesss!! but outwardly I said, “yeah, sure!” So we went to Kelsey’s. I’d never been there before and it sounded rather like the name a bar would have, so I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get in since I am six freaking months away from being eighteen. It was actually just a restaurant that included a bar, but I don’t know, would they have asked me for ID even though I wouldn’t have gotten a drink? I mean, since I was with a bunch of people clearly over eighteen?
I just can’t wait until I am no longer a minor. It causes problems and costs me money! Like getting the stupid Greece travel form notarized is bloody expensive considering all the guy has to do is sign and stamp. Stupid.
Anyways, hanging out with the older church youth is always really really fun and sometimes I wish that I were born just three or four years earlier so I’d be closer in age. But if that were the case then I’d not have met my crazy and awesome school friends and I don’t know what I would do without them! So I’m happy.
