Movie Night

Okay, so work on Friday was sooo long that it felt like I was there for more like ten hours instead of eight and a half. But once the long day was over, I went to Kim’s house with Alex and Jen for movie night. We watched Road Warrior and Starship Troopers 2 and two episodes of FLCL. It was so much fun, I love movie nights!

Then tonight I went to King Arthur with the same people who were at movie night. Originally the plan was to go to Moxies and then to the movie, but we kind of didn’t plan ahead and got there about an hour before the movie. Of course it made sense that there was a half hour lineup, considering that it was about six o’clock on a Saturday night during Stampede week. So instead we went to the food court and Alex and I got Edo of Japan. That stuff is so filling!! I ate probably half of mine and Alex had finished hers, and then she finished what was left of mine, too! She’s a machine.

Next week I’m going to see if I can get some time off of work, starting on the twenty-sixth. I just have to get up the courage to ask for it! But the thing is, I’m working through the list of work they gave me pretty fast, so I don’t think getting some holiday time should be a big problem. I hope.

I miss Katie, I wish she were coming back in time for Kim’s birthday.
