Good Things
This weekend has been so busy so far. Busy with good things though, and I loved it.
Above all, there was no homework in my core subjects. If that’s not a reason for celebration in itself, I don’t know what is. Maybe Sarah’s birthday and my grandparents’ fiftieth anniversary, though.
Friday I went shopping with Kim and Alex and Mark before heading to Sarah’s surprise party. It was a success: she had no idea. Afterwards we played Taboo, wherein Mark and my psychic connection came in handy… or our joint childhoods… either or.
On Saturday afternoon I went to First Baptist downtown to take pictures with my grandparents. It was where they got married—the idea was to have them pose on the steps so we could eventually place that picture beside the one taken fifty years ago at the same location. Nostalgic fools unite! We had dinner at a hotel in a conference room we’d booked. It was really nice, I think everyone had fun.
Today Kim and Katie and Jen came over and now we’re getting close to having the beginnings of our collective art site completed. And we even thought of our domain name: capriciousweb.com. I’m so excited!
