General Summary
After being in school for a bit over a week, here is my general summary.
- Art class is going to be the best class ever and I’m going to freakin’ cry when it’s over.
- English will endlessly follow the pattern of read, discuss, read discuss, read discuss, written response… (and so on) until Mark and my reserves of crap have again run low.
- Chem class is… well… it’s probably going to be kind of sucky since I don’t have Janet. I decided today, though, that I really don’t like it. I hate math and everything related to it, so I’m not liking the whole idea of having to do calculations all year. That and my teacher is really, really detail oriented. (Which is bad for me since I forget stupid things like physical states in equations all the time…)
- Social class is good. I like Mr. O’Brien so I think it will run pretty smoothly even though I think poli-sci is boring as hell.
There you have it. Overall I’m a pretty happy little girl just because I am blessed so far beyond what I deserve, and I know it.
And it’s almost September fourteenth! This is good because: it’s my birthday! This is bad because: Angie is leaving until November and that is saaaad! I’ll miss her. I want to write her letters. Letters are so freakin’ exciting to receive.
My birthday’s going to be good this year. (Not that it isn’t always!) Tonight I went with my family to Moxies in celebration… let’s see… Sunday is tentatively booked for Second Cup with the art entourage, and next Friday is tentatively booked for bowling with everyone from school. And I’ll probably try to do something with my church friends although this week might not work since it’s the super grand opening that everyone’s been waiting for!
I’m so excited for tomorrow because I get to see everyone from the Winnipeg team!
