Facing Fears

So this past week went by pretty slowly. I can’t believe this is only the second week of summer. Things would be flying by so quickly if I didn’t have a job, although that is probably because I’d be sleeping for about four extra hours per day…

I can’t think of anything too special that happened on Wednesday, but the Stampede on Thursday was soo freaking fun!! I don’t know, I didn’t think it would be so great but I guess anywhere you go is only as fun as who you go with, right? It was awesome! I faced my fears thanks to Kim and Jen and went on the roller coaster. I have to say, it was pretty fun even though I thought I was gonna die!

Then on Friday there was only a half day of work so that made me pretty happy, plus I got to wear jeans because of the stampede. It makes me wonder, I mean, everyone was elated about wearing casual clothes to work. Whyyy can’t we just wear casual clothes all year? Like, I can see if you’re a lawyer or customer relations person or something, and have to meet with people and leave a good impression that you’d want to dress up a bit. But me? Why do I have to? And everyone on my floor? Darn dress code. I miss school.
