Pirates of the Caribbean

Back in Calgary! That was such a long plane ride!!

Last night I went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean with Kim and Jen and Katie and Karen and Kristine… wow that’s a lot of ‘K’ names! Anyways, it was so, so good! I loved Johnny Depp’s character a lot.

We started at Boston Pizza for supper and then, traveling in two cars, agreed that we’d meet at the escalators when we got to the movie theatre. So Katie, Kim, Karen and I got to Paramount, bought our tickets and waited for Jen and Kristine, but they didn’t seem to be coming. Then Kim realized that Jen had said something about going to the Coliseum, and that there was no 10:10 show like we’d planned on going to. So we freaked out and called Jen’s mom to get her cell number. Jen answers the phone—already having figured out what happened and on her way to Paramount—with, ‘you’re stupid!! Stupid!’ Everything turned out fine though! We even got six decent seats all in a row! It was really fun seeing everyone again. I missed them all while I was in Quebec (which is stupid if you think about it, since I probably wouldn’t have seen them even if I hadn’t left. Ah well. Human nature to want what you can’t have, right?)

Aughh I have to go to work now!
