Not So Fast
I want to say this week has gone by quickly, but that wouldn’t really be all true. The times when I haven’t been at work have gone by quickly. At work it’s the usual drill, like in school, of counting down minutes.
I’m happier during the day if I have something to look forward to. I went for coffee with Angie on Tuesday (which was awesome), the Winnipeg meeting on Wednesday, and the day camp family night is what I just came home from. Those kids are so cute. I very much regret not being there as a counselor this week.
Next week I’m planning on doing lunch with Manuela on Friday and lunch with my uncle (and possibly my tenth grade math teacher!) on another day.
I’m reading A Handsmaid’s Tale right now because I have to for school. It’s written like this in a strange style, using comma splices, everywhere. And fragments. Just like we were told not to do in ninth grade. It kind of bugs me sometimes.
