Irreducible Complexity
Just two more evolution classes to go before exams start. Friday was a bit better. One of the questions on the mini-quiz at the start of class was: True or false: evolution is so widely accepted because there is no evidence to refute it. After putting a great big, two-line F on my page and passing it forward, I waited, armed and ready with my theory of irreducible complexity if she happened to say the answer was true, but she didn’t. And if she had, I wonder if anyone would have said anything. I wonder if I would have.
