Grade Eleven
The first day of school went pretty well but it wasn’t anything like last year. Today was way less scary than the first day of grade ten was. That day’s fears were more, ‘Wow, this school is so huge!’ and ‘I don’t know anyone in my homeroom… how am I going to survive this?’ This year holds thrills of a whole new type!
This is the standing list of who is in which classes of mine: Sarah in social (coded note-passing is go!), Aman in French and computers (thank God!), Kim in art (all the better for her to show me up, my dear!), Janice and Mark in English (that is going to be a kickin’ class!), Vee in bio (Hellooo!) and Jessie in chem (someone I know! Woot!) I find this absolutely amazing, since last year I had to make all new friends because I didn’t know anyone in my classes besides Selby in art! It kind of sucked at the beginning, but I’m glad it worked out like this, because I have more friends for it.
