You Don’t Care for Photographs

I’m okay with the sides I never see.
You say those window-dressing snapshots
just don’t represent the way things used to be.

Okay winter, it isn’t funny anymore. Seriously.

Well these past few days have been pretty good. I saw An Ideal Husband at Theatre Calgary and the sets were amazing! The acting was good too. It was perhaps a little long, but had a good resolution and all, so I’d recommend it. I think I heard that some of the guys didn’t like it much, so maybe it was a bit of a chick flick. What do you call a chick flick if it’s a play? Gay play? Haha!

After our youth leaders’ meeting on Saturday, everyone came over and we played some games. Jeff kept saying he had a gift for me so when he left to drop off the Buzan boys, I went with him to come get it. It was snowing so much! I kind of feared for my life except that we were going 40 km/h down Bow Bottom and Anderson so it was okay. Anyway, his present to me turned out to be a pen. So, I think he just wanted to go for a drive, but that’s cool.

Then, we had what will probably be the last movie night at Kim’s (or now, Kim’s parents house) and watched a terrible B movie as usual. I love this thing we started, watching dumb movies… it’s so much more social than watching a movie that people actually care about. We spend so much time making fun of the costumes and acting and horrible script that we probably miss half the movie. That’s what’s great about it!

This week I’ve been working on making a really nice star chart in Fireworks and it’s going awesome. It’s not quite done yet and I don’t really know what I’ll do with it (except maybe put it up in my new room… I’m going to go see the house in three days!). Actually, recently I’ve really gotten into the habit of starting things and not finishing them. I have at least five thinks that I can think of just off the top of my head that I should finish off. I feel like I have no control over where my creative drive goes sometimes… it sucks a little.

Yesterday we went to the Unicorn for Mark’s birthday, and I hope we still hang out as much as we do now (admittedly not tons) once Kim and Jen move up north. Things are changing really fast these days.

Do I see a pun there? *gasp* I didn’t know Kim and Jen were moving. But I’m sure you guys will still get to see each other lots!
