She Always Wins

So this week has been pretty super because… oh yeah, I don’t have to go to work! Ha! Hurray for sleeping in! Well anyway, here is a play-by-play of my week so far.

On Sunday Jen and I were bored and decided while chatting on msn that we should go for coffee. So we went to Second Cup and played chess. At one point, we realized that we both felt like watching some good old Sailor Moon, so we picked up Kimmy and watched no less than seven episodes of Sailor Moon S. It really brings back memories!

Monday, I worked on my surrealism painting (which is turning out kind of sucky, but I’m making it better slowly). In the evening I went to yoga with Jen and then to Second Cup afterwards where we played card games (she always wins).

I did pretty much nothing on Tuesday except work on my painting and scrapbook. Also, Jen and I wrote the first chapter of an Elijah Wood fanfic. It pains me to admit it, but it’s actually really fun.

And today I went to Second Cup (again) with Jen (again)! We actually went to a different location so we would not freak out the people who work at the Deer Valley one. We wrote chapter two of our story and blasted Shania Twain with the windows rolled down in response to some cool-guy’s angry rap.

Perhaps one would state something like, ‘you have been spending a lot of time with this Jen person, haven’t you?’ Well I was thinking that myself, and upon consulting my July calendar, I learned that of the thirty-one days in this month, I will have seen Jen on sixteen of them. So that’s the explanation I will give when people say I’m becoming anxious and starting to take on her OCD tendencies.

In other news, today was the first day I started a car. I feel pretty awesome, but will probably feel even more awesome when I am finally able to drive one.
