Day Camp

I went to help out at the day camp family night this evening, it was so fun! It was the first time I’d seen the sanctuary decorated for the camp, wow, it looks amazing. They have a volcano with one of those light/fan/fabric things on it so it looks like it’s on fire and a waterfall with lights. So exciting! They showed the Scuba in Winnipeg video from last year, and the whole time I was thinking things like uh oh, that was before I knew how to use timeline markers! and this would have been so much better with video! So if we go next year I’m (obviously) going to bring my wonderful Canon A75 and make the freaking very best post-camp tape!!!

Tomorrow at this same time I’m gonna be veryyy happy because I’m taking next week off from work—ten days in all, since Monday is a statuatory holiday. W00t!
