Out Of My Heart

Today was actually a lot better than I thought it would be! Work lasted a long time but I really liked what I got to do: essentially wrap presents all day! And I get to do it more tomorrow! My office… I guess I like it alright even though I liked the location of last year’s slightly better. But this is the honest truth: it’s really only a matter of time before I walk, preoccupied, into my old office and nearly sit down before I notice the man sitting there in his office. In such an event, I am unsure of the medium I will use to kill myself, but rest assured, I will find something quick and moderately painless.

But the best time at work today was the traffic meeting with Edmonton. The other corporate communications people probably would not understand why I like going to them… mostly because I have no idea why I do… I just… do. Well, they’re entertaining! (At least when our end is muted!)

I was still pretty happy to see the clock turn to 4:30, though. After work I came home and had pizza, and then went rollerblading with Kim and Jen. Wow, it was a blast. I so needed just to get out and laugh hysterically. Afterwards we went to Second Cup and played cards. Best. Evening. Ever!!!
