Exams and SAIT
This probably doesn’t make much sense, but I feel like this week in itself was more stressful than the following two weeks of exams will be. I’ve noticed before that a ton of tiny things combined will be more effective in freaking me out than two or three big things. Like for example, I wasn’t really worried about getting grad photos, but I knew it wasn’t going to be a fun thing. As it happened, I was lucky enough not to get the insanely impatient photographer. I’m very thankful for that. I liked the photographer I got, she was cool. I’m glad it’s over though.
Last night I finished off my horse painting. It looks like… well, not very good, in my opinion. It was horribly rushed, and I think it shows. But if Mr. Korns noticed it, he didn’t say anything when I handed it in. Kim and I are very close to finishing our massive painting, and we may even get the chance to sell it to a newly-opening bakery. That would be too cool if it actually happened!
Presently, SAIT has my application, transcripts, and proof that I’m enrolled in a bunch of classes I don’t need next semester. So now I’m just waiting… I haven’t thought much about the possibility that I won’t get in. Not sure what I’d so in such a case but…
This weekend is going to be good. I might study a little for chemistry (unlikely) and I’m planning on watching a bunch of movies that Dave lent us. Tonight we watched Bent it Like Beckham and Underworld. I liked them both.
On Monday I get to draw on a couple of ceiling tiles—awesome!
