Unbelievably Cool Weekend

This weekend has been so awesome. Movie night on Friday was fun, although Jen couldn’t make it which was too bad. We watched the Escaflowne movie and Treasure Planet, so it was very good. On Saturday I went shopping with my mom for things to put on my desk at work. So far I’ve got a dish of Scotch mints, a vase of dried flowers and two picture frames. Actually we already had the picture frames at home but I’m borrowing them for the summer. After church there was a party at Lake Bonavista and after that I went out for coffee at Second Cup with Kim and Megan.

Today was my last day of ‘fishing duty’ with Manuela, and it was so fun! First we went and fished one family, and then drove to Anita’s to find that she’d requested the fish be sent to Manuela next. So we figure she’s been the only one so far who’s had to fish her own house! We visited the pet store and saw the puppies before catching a movie and supper at the Cheesecake Café.

Overall this weekend was unbelievably cool… which will make work tomorrow seem kind of crappy. Although I think this week might go a bit faster than last week because now I have a steady project to work away at.
