French and Dance

I don’t think I’ve ever been in a more boring French class. Never have I seriously thought that I might fall asleep in the first two minutes of a class. We were doing skits by the middle of the class, so Aman and I went into Mrs. Preston’s classroom and… um… yes… wrote our skit. In science we did a lab and in math we did a test. During LA we talked about non verbal communication. I take dance; I know a lot about non verbal communication. I also know that if Amanda draws a huge happy face on a piece of paper, pokes eyeholes in it, and waves it around while we’re dancing, it means that we should smile.

Speaking of dance, Lindsay was a chair; Circle of Life results in high fives! And Charlie’s Angels means I’m accused of dropping Mel too fast on the handstand. She hates me. I don’t know if it’s something I ever did to her, or if she’s just a really good actress, but if it’s neither of those, she hates me a lot. And she’s not discrete about it at all. I sat down at the table across from Kim and Mel just gave me ‘that look’ and said, “you’re not wanted here.” I didn’t leave though. I can sit at the same table as my best friend if I want to. If Kim wants to have her there, it’s not as though I can stop her. I am not, however, going to run away crying from a sixth grader. Plus, Kim probably sees enough of me at school anyway. She needs that time with Mel and those guys. I don’t know, maybe I’m just being hard on myself. I think Friday class is a clique that I’m not a part of.

In home ec. I screwed my sewing up. It was quite funny, actually. A.J. made a joke in class yesterday which was funny and clean! And get this, he bumped into someone in the hall and said sorry! There might be hope for him yet!
