You Kick My Foot Under the Table

I kick you back. I can’t say I’m able
to stand for you, or fall for you, ever again.

Things are starting to fall into a routine now, and that makes me happy. We got new windows put into the house on Wednesday and so I think that’ll be the last of the big disruptions for a while. After a bit more organizing and purging of all the things in my room, I’ll be in a good position to decide what other pieces of furniture I’ll need. From the looks of it now, though, probably not much. My closet has so much space for storage and I love it! I might just need a dresser. It makes me wonder if I really do want to paint my desk and shelf. They’re white right now and I had the idea to paint them a darker colour, but now I’m not too sure. All the doors in my room are white already, so maybe I should just leave the other things white, too, and just get nice new drawer handles for the desk. We’ll see. Exciting, I know.

Mike’s in Japan now until June 6th and I miss my brother! But from his emails (or, I should say Justin’s emails) it sounds like they’re having a good time. It’s hard to believe they’re actually doing it. That’s kind of how all trips feel like to me, though. Months to plan, days to do.

On Thursday I got my hair cut at Marvel College, where you must sign a waiver stating that they are not to be held responsible for any damages to your hair. What can I say, I live on the edge. In my life, even haircuts are dangerous. Ha! But no, I really like how it turned out. It’s a mix between Alice from Twilight and Selene from Underworld. Except it’s not horrible like it was when I tried something similar in grade twelve.

I guess being a dork isn’t something you grow out of.
