A String of White Lights

Yesterday was a pretty wicked day! Work itself was a bit annoying, but after work we went to the Zoo BBQ (the one that wrapped up the photo scavenger hunt. I’d detailed said event in one of my deleted entries, so let me explain again. We had a list of phrases that we had to photograph with all our team members in the picture. There were different ways of getting points, etc.) Well, we won first place in the scavenger hunt! I was so happy, and we got $25 gift certificates to Chinook! It’s sweet! We also got plastic animal figurines. Mine was an adorable polar bear whom I named Gilbert. We also got free food at the BBQ, so really, it was just all-around awesome.

Then after that we (Kim, Alex, Mark, Jen, Crystal, Wayne and I) went to the Stampede sneak-a-peek. That was also very fun! We went on rides (I went on the lame and not sickening ones) and we got great midway junk-food and took time-lapse photos of the colourful rides once it got dark. Good times!

Also, yesterday I got my new Dell DJ! Basically, it is the equivalent to my brother’s iPod, but shhh, I like mine way better. And it has more space to store songs on.
