Late Movies

I’ve just come back from Batman Begins, and I really liked it! At first we were going to go to the 9:45 show, but it was sold out when Kim and I got there (Alex and Jesse and Crystal already had their tickets, but they were able to get them refunded). So we opted for the 10:45 one. My parents were not home at that point, so I called my brother and told him to pass it on that I’d be home late. His answer was, “Great! That will compensate for Thursday when I got home too late!” Heh.

So, right now I am very, very excited for two weeks from now when I will be going to Windermere for a week with my family and a bunch of other people. Sammy and I are going to have sooo much fun with Paige!! So cute!! I can’t wait. Because holidays also mean no work and no work means no customers. And no customers means I am happy!

Now that I work at a place where the weather is a large determining factor as to how hard my job will be on any given day, I’ve taken on the tendencies of an emo-goth while reading the weather report. A forecast predicting a week of torrential rain makes me giggle with euphoria, and prediction of hot, unbroken sunshine and a high of thirty makes me want to hang my head and cry. It’s kind of funny!
